The HUNTER 2.0 is designed for large payloads and autonomous driving applications. Leveraging front-wheel Ackermann steering and rocker suspension, HUNTER 2.0 can handle obstacles 5cm and inclines up to 10° while carrying payloads of 150kg (330lbs). The standard 24V30Ah power system allows HUNTER 2.0 to travel 22km (13.6mi) and up to 40km (24.9mi) with an optional 24V60Ah battery. The battery bin is designed to enable a quick charge process and the slide rails on top provide simple interfacing for different sensor and compute platforms. It comes with a CAN bus interface and C++ and ROS packages for secondary development.

Customized Chassis Solution

HUNTER’s lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO) portable battery pack offers flexibility of configuration to meet the capacity needs of your mission. HUNTER can drive up to 10km/h, suitable for autonomous driving scenarios, and other use cases for industrial-grade robots.

Portable battery packs are provided with two capacity options.

A battery management system ensures safe operation.

Supports speeds up to 10km/hr.

Powerful Drivetrain

HUNTER’s all-steel body, dual 400W servo motor drive, independent front-wheel Ackermann steering, and robustly controlled power system allows HUNTER to run smoothly both indoors and outdoors.

Suitable for high-endurance scenarios with a car-like structure and low tire wear, and a large battery capacity.

Independent front-wheel steering and rocker suspension make it possible to pass over speed bumps with ease.

Dual 400W servo motors allow for payloads up to 150kg.

Power-off Brakes

HUNTER 2.0's slope parking feature allows a reliable standstill on a slope thanks to the well designed drive train. In the event of power outage or failure of the vehicle while traversing slope terrains, wheels will be locked in place without slipping off to ensure stable and reliable safety performance.

HARDWARE

Ackermann steering - The car-like Ackermann steering geometry allows wheels to turn at different rates, preventing sideways sliding, and improving tire wear and performance.

IP Upgrade - An optional upgrade to HUNTER’s IP rating from the standard 22 to the significantly upgraded 54, protecting it from splashes of water in every direction.

Rails - The top of the robot provides a standardized mounting solution with aluminum T-slot rails, convenient for securely mounting external equipment and sensors or one of the available preconfigured R&D or navigation kits.

Extremely tough axles & drive system - Both of HUNTER’s front wheels are driven independently by 200w brushless servo motors & have rocker suspensions with shock absorbers, giving it the ability to handle rough terrain while ensuring power and stability. As a result, it can easily take on up to 5cm tall obstacles.

PACKAGES

Battery Upgrade (Optional) - (60Ah Expansion Battery) By default, the Hunter 2.0 UGV comes with a 24v30Ah battery which allows for a maximum travel distance (without load) of 22km. With the optional 60Ah upgrade the maximum travel distance increases to 40km.

AutoKit (Optional)- The AgileX AutoKit is a full-stack and cost-effective autonomous driving development & education kit based on Autoware open-source software. It provides a powerful autonomous driving sensor system that seamlessly integrates into your robot platform. With this software & hardware platform stack, along with comprehensive user guides, the AutoKit empowers educational experts and industry developers to quickly and easily deploy autonomous robots and develop autonomous driving research in various industries. The AutoWare Kit comes with the following sensors, devices, & computers: A computer with 8 cores and 32GB of RAM, Robotsense RO-LiDAR-16 16 channel LiDAR, LCD display, & a USB-to-CAN module.
